ABOUT OLIVIA

Award-winning author, Olivia Shaw-Reel, began writing short stories at 7, when most children were occupied with cartoons and dolls. She completed her first full-length novel at 9, and was published by 10 years old.

Over the years, she has contributed to many esteemed publications, including The Milwaukee Times  (Milwaukee), Rep Da King Mag (Atlanta), Girlfriends Health Guide for Everyday Women and Fellas Lifestyle Magazine (Milwaukee), and The Heat Seekers Magazine (Charlotte). However, it was her love of fiction writing that propelled her to embark on a career as a novelist, and the 31-year-old has not looked back since.

In 2015, Olivia released her first novel, Soul Cry, which sat at #1 for 16 consecutive weeks on the Amazon Top 100 charts. Since then, Olivia has written and published more than 25 novels and garnered two additional #1 best-selling books, entitled What God Has Joined Together and Matters of the Hart: A Tale of the Dysfunctional Hart Sisters.

Olivia also enjoys helping others accomplish their literary dreams through her faith-based consulting company, Reel Creative Solutions. She serves as a ghostwriter and publishing mentor to more than 200 authors nationwide.

She resides in Milwaukee with her husband, Paris, and together, they host The Reel Love Podcast.
